Injured man turns up at Kerikeri police station

Police are investigating after an injured man turned up at the Kerikeri police station, in the Far North, tonight.

A police spokesperson said it was unclear what led to the incident and how the person was injured.

“What we can say is that a man’s been injured and police are working to determine exactly how that occurred,” police said.

St John confirmed two ambulances were called to an address on Kerikeri Rd.

It is understood a rescue helicopter has been dispatched from Whangārei.
