Emergency services respond to serious crash in Mt Wellington

A section of Penrose Rd in Mt Wellington is closed following a serious crash earlier this evening.

Emergency services were called to the location at the corner of Penrose Rd and Bailey Rd around 6.05pm, a police spokesperson said.

Initial indications are two people may be seriously injured, the spokesperson said.

Diversions are in place on Penrose Rd.
