Emergency services are responding to the scene of a serious crash in Sefton, Canterbury.

A police spokesperson confirmed emergency services were notified at 7.55pm of a car that rolled on Rangiora Leithfield Rd, near Pembertons Rd.

It is understood there are serious injuries.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
