Emergency services have extinguished a building fire in Victoria St in central Wellington.
A police spokesperson said five fire appliances attended the scene, including two ladder trucks.
They said it took fire crews some time to locate the fire due to its location in the ceiling of the building.
The
blaze was partially extinguished due to it burning through a water pipe, they said.
