A private plane has had to make an emergency landing at Auckland Airport after reports of smoke in the cockpit.
An Auckland Airport spokeswoman confirmed just after 10am the plane had landed safely.
The six passengers and two crew members were unharmed and taken to the terminal.
The St John
Ambulance service was stood down.
