An elderly woman has died following a two-car crash in Whangarei yesterday.
A police spokeswoman said in a statement the 88-year-old was taken to hospital in a serious condition following the 4.30pm crash at the intersection of Maunu and Otaika Rds, but later died of her injuries.
Police will namethe woman once all her family have been told, the spokeswoman said.
