Police said emergency services attended the crash, about 4pm on March 26.
It appeared that Marie Hall, 83, from Levin, was waiting on a median strip on the road
on a mobility scooter when the collision occurred, police said.
The male driver of the vehicle was not injured, but was left shaken, police said.
Ms Hall was taken to Palmerston North Hospital with serious injuries, but died yesterday surrounded by her family, police said.
