An elderly pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in South Auckland this morning.
The accident happened just before 10.30am on Alfriston Rd near the intersection of Magic Way in Manurewa.
A police spokeswoman confirmed a man in his 70s had been injured after he was hit crossing the road.
He
had suffered serious injuries and was taken to Middlemore Hospital for treatment.
