An elderly couple have lost all their possessions in a fire that destroyed their Christchurch home today.
The fire service arrived at the Bewdley St property in Spreydon, just before 3pm to find the house already well-alight, southern fire communications shift manager Andrew Norris said.
The couple had escaped uninjured,
