Elder Abuse Response Service/Community Social Worker

Age Concern Wanganui is committed to providing a professional service to our community. We are looking for a registered Social Worker with social work experience to join our team in a newly created role. In this fast paced role you will work with other social services, agencies and providers to ensure the needs of older adults are fully met.

To be successful in this rewarding position you will need: •A qualification in Social Work recognized by the Social Work Registration Board •Demonstrated resilience, problem solving techniques & flexibility •The ability to be self-motivated and work both independently and as part of the team •Proficiency in needs assessment and case management skills •Excellent written & oral communication skills •Excellent time management & organizational skills •Strong PC & Microsoft Office Suite skills with excellent report writing ability •Full current Driver's licence
