Final preparations are complete for the more than 50,000 visitors expected at the Coca-Cola Easter Show, which kicks off today.
Acrobats in Zirka Circus, New Zealand's only full-time travelling circus, are among the drawcards, as well as old favourites such as carnival rides, sideshow competitions and farm animals.
New attractions
this year include the 100 per cent Kylie Show, a homage to the pop star by Australian singer Lucy Holmes, and a Looney Tunes musical production featuring Bugs Bunny, Tweety Pie and other characters.
The show runs through to Sunday. For more information go to eastershow.co.nz.
