The driver of a truck has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on State Highway 2 west of Maramarua.
A police spokeswoman confirmed police and ambulance were at the scene of the crash after emergency services were notified at about 7.15 this morning.
She said the
crash was a nose-to-tail, and the driver of a truck was trapped in their vehicle and being attended to by ambulance staff.
