Driver rushed to hospital after car crashes down Christchurch bank

Save A driver has been rushed to hospital after a car reportedly went down a bank in Christchurch this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports of a person being trapped inside a vehicle in the hillside suburb of Cashmere shortly after 1pm.
A spokeswoman for St John said one person
was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
Two fire appliances were also dispatched to the scene.
Police said just one vehicle was involved in the incident.
