Driver pulled from flipped truck

A driver has been pulled free after being trapped in his truck for more than three hours.

The two trailer unit carrying waste paper flipped on State Highway 4 between Eight Mile Junction and Mapiu, south of Te Kuiti about 2.30am.

Emergency services had difficulty getting the man free, but it is understood he has only minor injuries.
