Driver falls fowl of council

A truck driver is facing paying clean-up costs after a large quantity of chicken manure was spilt on a public road in Whangarei.

District council staff were initially stumped by a stinky poser - who illegally dumped the large amount of smelly chicken manure on Rewa Rewa Rd about 8 on Monday night?

But during their investigations, a man said the spill had been from his truck.
