A driver has died after crashing a vehicle into a tree, just south of Hamilton, police say.
The crash happened after the driver crossed the centreline on Marychurch Road, about 11am.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and died at the scene, police said.
No other vehicles
were involved.
The Waikato Police Serious Crash Unit was investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
