Dried fruit packs may contain pieces of metal

A food importing company is recalling packs of Sunbeam brand dried fruit that may contain pieces of metal.

Sunbeam Foods Pty Ltd said the recall applied only to those products of the nominated size and best before dates. No other Sunbeam products were affected.

Customers were asked to return the products to the place of purchase for a refund.

The affected packs are:
* sultana 240g six packs with a "best before" date of August 31, 2007
* apricot and sultanas 222g six packs dated September 2, 2007
* Fruit on the Go fruit salad 300g six packs dated September 14, 2007
* apple and sultana 15g six packs dated September 16, 2007
