Save A woman and child who drifted 200 metres out to sea off the Wellington coast this afternoon have been rescued.
Emergency services raced to Tītahi Bay in Porirua around 4.40pm.
The pair had been drifting for about 15 minutes and were rescued 200m from the shore, a police spokesperson said.
