Double murderer's phone found in jail

A cellphone used by double killer Scott Watson to send flirtatious text messages and indecent photos of himself has finally been found.

Officials say Watson will face "internal charges which may affect his security classification".

Last Friday, Christchurch Prison staff raided Watson's cell after inquiries from the Weekend Herald, but no phone was found then.

The 33-year-old murdered Ben Smart and Olivia Hope in 1998.
