Pokeno will return to being famous for quality bacon and giant ice creams after its year being known as JenniferAnn.com.
The village at the foot of the Bombay Hills took on the name of the Internet lingerie company last year in an attempt to win back passing motorists, after a bypass
took the highway away from Pokeno four years ago.
Business Association chairman John Woodward said the year-long project had been very successful.
"We've certainly had more visitors here and it's all down to the name," he said.
Mr Woodward said there had been some interesting groups through the village - from curious Auckland sightseers to German broadcasters and a Japanese delegation interested in the possibilities of the idea.
He said the name change had only ever been intended to be for a year.
"There are good opportunities there for the future," he said. "But for now we are happy to have Pokeno back."
