Domestic airline to open head office in Christchurch

Planned domestic airline Kiwijet is working towards opening up its Christchurch head office within the next couple of months.

The proposed regional airline has been plagued by set-backs but will open its Christchurch head office in February with eight staff. It hopes to be flying by the end of next year.

The Christchurch-based airline will mean the fourth carrier catering to domestic travellers after Pacific Blue launched last month.
