Save Police divers searching for a missing fisherman have found a body.
A large scale search was underway in and around Nelson's Waimea Inlet this morning for 35-year-old Lian Thang Van.
Mr Van was fishing with friends when he got into trouble yesterday afternoon.
Police have not yet confirmed if the
body is that of Mr Van.
Inspector Ian McKenzie told Newstalk ZB the police dive squad from Wellington located a body in the water near the Waimea River mouth about 12.30pm.
