Save Three dogs have been seized and transported to an Invercargill pound after a disabled woman was attacked in the Southland town of Riverton.
The woman's pet dog was killed in the attack, which happened just before five yesterday afternoon.
Her injuries aren't serious, but ambulance staff have tended to dog
bites she sustained in the scuffle.
Council staff and police are investigating the incident, but it's not yet known what will happen to the dogs.
