Diabetic girl, 14, missing in Auckland

Auckland police are looking for a missing teenager in Pakuranga.

The 14-year-old was reported missing from a Glenmore Road CYF home around 12.30am yesterday.

She is described as European with blue eyes, black hair with blonde streaks, a pierced lip and around 1.67m tall.

Police say the girl is diabetic but has not taken her medication - so they have growing concerns for her safety.

She was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, black tracksuit pants and wearing glasses.
