Police are investigating an unexplained death in the suburb of Devonport on Auckland’s North Shore.
Police are appealing for information from the public after an unexplained death in Devonport.
Emergency services were called to a Kerr St address about 11pm on January 1, where a person was found dead.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ryan Bunting said a scene examination at the property is ongoing and residentscan expect to see a continued police presence on Kerr St throughout the weekend.
As inquiries continue, police are asking for assistance from the community, particularly those who may have CCTV or dashcam footage.
“We’re appealing for assistance from residents and businesses in the Devonport area with road-facing CCTV cameras,” Bunting said.
Police are especially interested in footage from Vauxhall Rd, between Grove Rd and Church St.

They are also keen to hear from anyone who travelled along that section of Vauxhall Rd or Kerr St between 10.30am and 10.30pm on New Year’s Day and may have relevant dashcam footage.
