Destiny to contest 42 electorates

Destiny New Zealand says it will contest 42 electorates including all seven Maori seats.

It said it would officially begin its election campaign at a rally at an events centre in Manukau on Saturday.

Party leader Richard Lewis said more than 2000 had confirmed they would attend the rally.

He has told a public meeting in Whangarei that the party had been building towards the challenge of an election for more than two years.
