Delays on Southwestern Motorway after multi-car crash is cleared

Commuters travelling on the Southwestern Motorway in Auckland tonight are being advised to expect significant delays after a multi-car crash.

The NZ Transport Agency reported the crash had been blocking the southbound lanes near the Massey Rd on-ramp at approximately 5.15pm.

By 6pm emergency services had cleared the crash, but commuters were still being advised to expect delays as congestion eases in the area.
