A truck broken down on Auckland's Southern Motorway caused early rush-hour delays this morning, and another crash near the airport caused further backlog.
Police said the brakes of a truck locked up and it stalled in the middle northbound lane of the Southern Motorway between Redoubt Rd and the EastTamaki turnoff. Both crashes have been cleared - along with a third on the Southern Motorway near Drury - but delays are still expected as traffic flows return to normal.
Update: The crash is now clear & all lanes are open. Expect some delays as traffic returns to normal peak flows ^LC https://t.co/mcXuWy5cY7
