The death of a woman who was swimming at a pool at Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua yesterday was not suspicious, police say.
The woman, believed to be in her 50s, appeared to have gone into cardiac arrest while swimming and drowned.
Police have been notifying the woman's next of kin
and her death has been referred to the coroner.
Police could not release the woman's name at this stage.
