Dead woman was bitten by dogs

A South Auckland woman whose death on Saturday was initially investigated as a homicide died of natural causes, police now say.

The body of the 38-year-old from Mangere was found on her lawn and police believed she had been murdered.

But a post-mortem examination showed that dogs at the house caused the injuries to her head.
