The woman who was found dead in the Ruahine Range near Palmerston North last night has been named.
She was 22-year-old Tommie Moana McKinnon from Woodville.
Police and search and rescue volunteers found Ms McKinnon's body near the Wharite Peak communication tower yesterday evening.
