Dead couple named

The husband and wife who died after a shooting in Gisborne on Tuesday were Veralyn Joyce Pomana-Koia, 41, and Errol Douglas Koia, 44.

Police found a firearm at the house and said both had gunshot wounds.

Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Scott said police were not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident. The separated couple had two teenage children.
