Date set for murder trial

The man accused of murdering Auckland man Austin Hemmings in a central Auckland street will stand trial in a year's time.

A trial date of November 1, 2010 was yesterday set for Pauesi Leofa Brown.

The High Court at Auckland trial is expected to last two weeks.

Mr Hemmings died after he was stabbed in the chest shortly after leaving his office on September 25 last year.
