Marcus Daniell has won his eighth ITF tennis doubles title - and his second in the last three weeks - in Ramat Hasharon, Israel.
Daniell, a former Wairarapa age group and senior representative, with his new partner, Ti Chen of Taipei, won a tough semifinal 6-3, 5-7, 10-6 overa pair who had earlier eliminated the top seeds.
That victory took them into the final against Israel pair Noam Behr and Noam Okun.
Daniell and Chen won the first set 7-6 before Behr and Okun retired.
