Cyclist who died two weeks after accident named

A cyclist who died in hospital more than two weeks after he was hit by a car in Waihi has been named by police as Arthur James Ross.

Mr Ross, 77, was hit at the intersection of State Highway 2 and Johnson Road in Waihi just before noon on September 6.He died in Waikato Hospital last night, police said.

Police were continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash.
