Cyclist trapped under 18-wheeler truck

A Christchurch cyclist has spent some time under an 18-wheeler truck this morning after being hit at a busy intersection.

An ambulance spokesperson said the man in his 30s has moderate to serious injuries and was on his way to Christchurch Hospital.

The incident occurred at the Curletts Rd, Blenheim Road intersection shortly before 7.30am.
