Cyclist seriously injured in Glen Eden crash

A cyclist has been seriously injured after being hit by a car in Glen Eden.

A spokeswoman confirmed the West Coast Rd accident was reported to police at 1pm.

"The cyclist is reported to have serious injuries."

Contractors put traffic management in place, and the Serious Crash Unit had been advised.
