Cyclist critically injured in Onehunga crash, road closures in place

A vehicle has collided with a cyclist in Onehunga, prompting emergency services to respond and forcing road closures.

The crash, between a vehicle and cyclist on Neilson St, was reported to police just before 3pm.

Early indications suggest one person is in critical condition, police said.

Neilson St, between Galway St and Selwyn St, is closed.

The Serious Crash Unit has been notified, and motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
