Three teams share the early lead in Netball Wairarapa's premier one competition.
Unbeaten after three rounds of matches are Celtic, Harcourts and Pioneer Blue, all of whom are sitting on the maximum nine points.
Sharing fourth-equal on three points are Wairarapa College A, Eketahuna and St Matthew's Collegiate Awhile Carterton New World Vipers have two and Baywide Gladstone one.
This Saturday's draw promises to bring drastic changes to the points table. Defending champions Harcourts are up against Pioneer Blue and while the latter were impressive in their victory over Eketahuna last weekend it's hard to imagine anything other than a comfortable Harcourts win.
Celtic do battle with Eketahuna and while favouritism will clearly rest with a Celtic side containing many of Wairarapa's regional super league side, Eketahuna have made a habit of rising to the occasion and will be keen to put the frustrations of the Pioneer Blue defeat behind them.
In other games at the Colombo Road courts there should be little between St Matthew's Collegiate and Baywide Gladstone or Carterton New World Vipers and Wairarapa College.
Meanwhile, Netball Wairarapa are on the search for an exciting logo and are holding a competition open to all college students. Whoever designs the winning logo will receive $250 for their school's sports department and $250 for themselves. Designs are to be entered by August 30 and and the winner will be announced on September 6.
