Woman threatened while out jogging

Police are investigating a complaint by a woman who was threatened by a man on a popular bush track near Wellington early this morning.

The woman told police that she was abused and threatened with violence by a male tramper while she was out jogging in the Belmont Regional Park just after 7am.

Police had been unable to find the man, but wanted people to contact them if they knew of similar incidents.
