Wanted Northland man on run

A Northland man involved in an early morning incident where a firearm was pointed at police is now on the run and wanted.

Warrants relating to a range of issues has been issued for the arrest of 25-year-old Levi Reeves of Kaikohe.

Police said reeves was stopped in a vehicle on Western Hills Dr about 2am last friday.

During the routine stop a firearm was pointed at officers.

Although reeves is from Northland, he may be anywhere in the upper north island.

Reeves may have access to a silver subaru legacy, a white mitsubishi libero, or a white 1993 mazda familia. He is considered dangerous and should not be approached.

Anyone who sees him should call 111 immediately.
