A gunman is on the run after shots were fired at a house in Hanmer Springs last night.
St John took one person to the Hanmer Medical Centre at 10.30pm but police say the injuries were not related to the shooting.
Despite an extensive search, police failed to find the
person who took aim at the property.
More than a dozen police cars descended on Hanmer Springs Rd between Lewis Pass and Medway Rds about 9.30pm.
A guard was at the house and enquiries were under way to work out what happened.
