A crash which blocked a city-bound lane in Auckland this morning is causing long tail-backs for commuters.
The crash blocked the left-lane at Patiki Rd on the northwestern motorway shortly before 7am.
Motorists were asked to merge right and pass with care.
The scene has since been cleared but the
NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) has warned motorists to expect delays from Lincoln Rd.
Meanwhile, a separate crash blocked two lanes northbound in St Mary's Bay after the Victoria Park Tunnel. All four lanes are now clear and NZTA says congestion in the tunnel and St Mary's Bay is expected to slowly ease.
