A car has smashed into a power pole in a South Auckland suburb, taking out electricity for residents.
A police communications spokesperson said they were alerted to the incident on Kiwi Esplanade in Mangere Bridge just after 8pm.
The crash happened between Seaforth and House Avenues, taking down powerlines.
However
the spokesperson said no one was injured, and the crash is not blocking the road.
Vector has been advised, and its website estimates power will be out until 3.20am tomorrow.
