A multi-vehicle crash is currently blocking two of three lanes in the Waterview Tunnel on Auckland’s Southwestern Motorway.
Motorists are advised to expect delays as traffic has already built up 4km along the motorway from the tunnel past the Maioro St off-ramp.
Waka Kotahi NZTA said the crash in thenorthbound tunnel occurred at about 2.20pm.
The transport agency asked motorists to merge left and pass the scene with care.
