Crash causing major delays on Redoubt Rd

A crash in Redoubt Rd is causing significant delays for commuters.

The crash at the intersection of Redoubt Rd and Murphys Rd in Totara Park had blocked lanes, according to the NZ Transport Agency.

Significant delays were expected with the eastbound tail back to Hilltop Rd and westbound traffic backed up to Mill Rd.

A crash on Auckland's North Shore earlier resulted in a road closure and caused delays in peak-hour traffic.

The incident happened on Porana Rd between Wairau Rd and Goldfield Rd this evening.

This stretch of Porana Rd was closed in both directions but had since been reopened.

The Transport Agency was urging motorists to expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
