Crash as vehicle rolls in Bay of Plenty

Emergency services are on their way to a crash on Ngongotaha Rd in the Bay of Plenty.

Police northern communications Inspector Andy Brill said a vehicle had rolled at the Fairy Springs end of Ngongotaha Rd.

Emergency services, including fire and ambulance, were on the way to the scene.

He said the road was blocked, but police had just arrived and Mr Brill was unsure whether it would remain that way.

A reporter on the way to the scene said there was "massive traffic build-up" on the way out to Ngongotaha.

She said fire crews were also on their way to the scene.
