The mother of Christchurch 5-year-old Leon Jayet-Cole will not appear in court today as planned.
Emma Le Fleming Roberts is accused of failing to get the youngster medical treatment after he suffered serious head injuries in May.
The autistic boy's stepfather is charged with his murder.
The matter has been
held off today.
Roberts will next appear before the courts in three weeks.
