With many landlords and tenants struggling to fill rooms with credible tenants, one group of flatmates have taken a left-field approach.
Dan Webby and his Ponsonby flatmates took to social media videoing themselves taking viewers on a tour of their five-bedroom villa.
The catch? Well, there isn't one.
"Looking for a GB/GC to join our awesome flat in Ponsonby. Want to know more...? Here's a guided tour by none other than Dan. #COOLFLATBRO" the flatmates posted on Flatmates Wanted - Auckland Facebook page.
The video starts with Webby welcoming viewers into their flat. "Hello! You must be the potential flatmate for our wonderful flat in central Auckland. Come on in.
After showing viewers through their spacious bathroom and hallway the charismatic Webby shows off the kitchen and living area, highlighting the numerous comfortable couches as well as Sky TV and Netflix.

"A lot of good times are had in here. And we do enjoy a bit of a tipple. We have our own liquor cabinet.
"Would you be happy to pay $250 a week including expenses? Then you seem like the ideal flatmate. It's been really nice meeting ya. Remember, very central, nice house, good flatmates. See ya later."
The video has attracted more than a thousand reactions, with people expressing their love for quirky ad.
"This is the greatest thing I've ever seen", one person said.
"This is superb, and I wanna be your flatmate. Will flick you cool peeps a message", another wrote.
One person compared Webby's personality and humour to that of comedian Rhys Derby, revealing he didn't know whether to cringe or laugh.
The Ponsonby property was listed on TradeMe on Wednesday night.
