Police have concerns for a young eastern Bay of Plenty couple who have been missing for more than a week.
Whakatane Detective Shane Tailby said 18-year-old Zara Vercoe and her partner Toroa Troth were believed to have gone pig hunting on March 7 after leaving Kawerau.
They left home lastWednesday and have not been heard from since, Mr Tailby said.
Police did not know where they were going to hunt or what vehicle they were in.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
